Starting out as a dancer, Ron is best known for his role in The Academy series. His breakthrough role came in Triumph in the Skies as the cool younger brother. I also don’t dare to date because I don’t want the paparazzi to be accompanying me where ever I go.”
Asked if he’s worried about being shut out in Mainland? Ron said: “I recently turn down a Mainland series. In the future, I will be going back to Mainland for stage work and shoot an ad. I don’t feel that I’m getting shut out.” It was said that because he wanted to make it convenient for Viann to come to Hong Kong, he hired a driver. Ron said: “It’s been a year since I’ve hired a driver, sometimes after work I am too tired and don’t want to drive.”
